The Société des Énergies de Côte d'Ivoire is a public company in Côte d'Ivoire that is responsible for the production, distribution and marketing of electricity in the country. It is also responsible for planning and coordinating national energy policies. CI-Energies is financed by electricity tariffs paid by consumers and by state subsidies. It is subject to regulation by the Autorité de Régulation des Sectors de l'Energie et des Télécommunications (ARSEC) and is governed by a board of directors appointed by the Ivorian government.
