The Compagnie Ivoirienne de Production d'Electricité (CIPREL) is an Ivorian company that is responsible for the production of electricity from thermal and hydroelectric power plants. It is a subsidiary of the Société des Énergies de Côte d’Ivoire which is responsible for the distribution and marketing of electricity. CIPREL is responsible for the production of electricity for the national electricity network and is subject to the regulations of the Autorité de régulation des secteurs de l'énergie et des télécommunications (ARSEC).
