ENEO Cameroon (formerly AES-SONEL) is a Cameroonian public company that is responsible for the production, distribution and marketing of electricity in Cameroon. It is also responsible for the maintenance and repair of the electricity distribution networks and consumer billing. ENEO is financed by the electricity tariffs paid by consumers and is subject to regulation by the CRE (Commission de Régulation de l'Electricité) which is the regulatory authority for the electricity sector in Cameroon.
