ENEO Cameroon (formerly AES-SONEL) is a state-owned Cameroonian company responsible for the production, distribution and marketing of electricity in Cameroon. It is also responsible for the maintenance and repair of electricity distribution networks, and for consumer billing. ENEO is financed by the electricity tariffs paid by consumers, and is subject to the regulations of the CRE (Commission de régulation de l'électricité), the regulatory authority for the electricity sector in Cameroon.
