GRIDCo (Ghana Grid Company Limited) is a state-owned Ghanaian company responsible for the management and operation of Ghana's national power system. It is responsible for the maintenance and repair of electricity transmission and distribution lines, the coordination of electricity generation and the transmission of electricity throughout the country. GRIDCo is also responsible for balancing electricity supply and demand on the national electricity market. It is financed by electricity tariffs paid by consumers and is subject to regulation by the Public Utility and Regulatory Commission (PURC), Ghana's electricity regulator.
